The Mumbai Police reported to have appointed Ajay as the brand ambassador of Jagrut Mumbaikar. Through its campaign the actor will promote safety measures which include informing the police when one rents out their flats, when one sees unattended objects in public places, to be alert of suspicious strangers, many such things….

According to sources, when Mumbai Police officials had approached Ajay with the campaign, he immediately gave his consent to support it. The actor will be seen quoting the campaign’s motto – ‘Help the men in khakee help us. Mumbai is our responsibility, we will safeguard it.’
